These match striker jar’s were thrown on the potters wheel. The stoneware jar was then hand cut to divide used matches and unsued matches . hand poured over with porcealn slip then glazed in white. strike anywhere on the un-glazed side of the jar and the match will light. Discard the used match in the discard slot.

*works ONLY with "Strike anywhere" matches

*Strike anywhere" matches will work in the unglazed portion of the jar. They must be strike anywhere to work with the jar.


*1.5” match pad included! you can use strike on the box matches “safety matches” With the match pad.
