About Hands On Ceramics

I made my first pot at 8 years old, and found my way back to it at 25. Since then, I’ve been all in—designing, creating, and getting my hands dirty every chance I get.

Though I’m born and raised in New York City, I spent several years in Chicago where I really deepened my practice. I studied Ceramic Arts at Concordia University in Montreal, then moved to Chicago where I began teaching, managing a studio, and working as a production potter. Between instructing wheel classes for kids and adults, running a studio, and making work of my own, I became fully immersed in the ceramic world.

Eventually, I launched my own brand, started selling locally, and began participating in juried art shows, artisan markets, and even Comicon conventions. Now, after six years in Chicago, I’m back in NYC—continuing to teach, create, and grow my line of functional, handmade ceramics. I’m so happy to share my love of clay with you.
